Monica is a great woman I met while traveling in Zanzibar many years ago. She was one of the first people I met whose products inspired me to start this business. As a mother to multiple sons, she is a hardworking woman who runs one of the most successful shops in all of Stone Town. She is an innovator, constantly looking to new mediums and textiles to make new, beautiful products. Hailing from mainland Tanzania, she relocated to the beautiful island of Zanzibar to start a new life for her family and is thriving! We love Monica and her products and I hope you will too!
